Dr. Scott Hanosh was born in Albuquerque and raised in the small town of Grants, N.M. After graduating from Grants High School in 1981 he attended the University of New Mexico(UNM) in Albuquerque for his freshman year and then transferred to Creighton University in Omaha, NE.
The summer before Dr. Scott’s Junior year he met Michelle and they were married in Las Cruces, NM, a year later. They moved to Omaha so Dr. Scott could finish his Senior year and graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science degree. After taking a year off to have their son, Josh, Dr. Scott started Creighton University’s Dental School and they spent the next 4 years back in Omaha.
Upon graduating Dental School in May, 1990, Dr. Scott, Michelle and Josh moved to Paradise and have loved living and raising their family here. Dr. Scott says he has the best staff and patients out of anywhere else in the world.
His son, Josh, married his high school sweet heart, Danielle, and they live in Colfax, CA where they have started an animal sanctuary, Blackberry Creek Farm Animal Sanctuary, and teach full time at Springview Middle School. Joshua teaches computer science and also runs Dedicated Designs which is a web presence consulting company that specializes in brand management on and offline. Danielle teaches English and is the CEO of Blackberry Creek.
Dr. Scott and Michelle are very involved in their church, Paradise Alliance Church where Michelle is the director of Women’s ministries. They both are involved in short term missions which take them to Mexicali, Mexico, and Scott has been to Fiji to work with YWAM.
Scott is an avid golfer and if you can’t find him at the office working with patients he might be found at Canyon Oaks Golf course getting 18 holes in.
Dr. Scott loves what he does and has invested considerable time and money into his dental education to expand his knowledge and make it possible for his community to enjoy the benefits of comprehensive dental services in one office.
Dr. G. Beau Hunter was born and raised in Gridley, CA. He grew up the oldest of five children, helping his father with farming rice, carpentry, and painting and drawing with his mom. After graduating from Gridley High School, he traveled to 7 countries in Europe studying abroad, followed by a two year church mission to Brazil where he learned to speak Portuguese. Beau then studied at BYU Idaho and attained his Bachelors in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
In 2007, Beau married Shannon and moved to Columbus, Ohio, to attend dental school at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Go Buckeyes! He won his dental school singing competition “DDS Idol” 4 years in a row. Following graduation Dr. Hunter studied Sedation Dentistry and attained his I.V. conscious sedation license from USC.
He has been able to provide dental care for anxious patients, those who find it hard to “get numb”, and those with a severe gag reflex. Dr. Hunter’s experience offers unique and compassionate care to a wider range of people. His artistic ability offers a very pleasing result to his patients, resulting in a great dental experience.
Beau has been married for 8 years to his wife, Shannon, and has 3 beautiful daughters, Tatum, Remi and Primrose. Beau enjoys many forms of art, woodworking, and music. He plays guitar, trumpet, and is currently taking piano lessons. He also built his desk from raw pieces of walnut from an orchard in Chico that he milled himself.
Dr. Moores was born in California but grew up in eastern Canada, where his father was a country doctor who made house calls. When Dr. Moores was 11 years old, he moved to the Far East where he lived in Hong Kong and Singapore for six years. After six years he eventually returned to California, where he attended Pacific Union College in Angwin, CA, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomathematics. After graduating from Pacific Union College, he moved to Loma Linda, CA where he attended Loma Linda University School of Health and received a Master’s Degree in Bio-statistics. Then he attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
After graduation, Dr. Moores was an associate dentist with the Riverside Dental Group, but he really wanted the challenge of running his own practice, so in 1986 he moved to Paradise and opened his own office.
For Dr. Moores, the best reward that he can receive is the look on his patients’ faces when they look in the mirror for the first time after their treatment is complete and can see their new smile. Such a change can have a major impact on their lives.Since opening his office, Dr. Moores has stayed current with many new advances in dentistry. He has taken hundreds of hours of Continuing Education including advanced training at the world-famous Las Vegas Institute for advanced dental studies and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Northern California Dental Society.
In his spare time, Dr. Moores enjoys playing the piano and keyboard as well as cycling.
